Theodore Alexander is collaborating with New York-based designer Jamie Drake to launch a new line of distinctive home furnishings.
“Jamie Drake for Theodore Alexander” consists of approximately 50 imaginative bedroom and living room pieces, which will be realized by Theodore Alexander’s talented craftspeople. The collection will debut during the April 2014 High Point Market in Theodore Alexander’s showroom at 229 West Russell Avenue.
Designer of some of the country’s most captivating spaces, Drake believes the best decor expresses personality and place.Known for his exuberant color sense, his eye for the unique and telling detail, Drake creates inviting, delightful, and livable environments. His impressive roster of clients includes Madonna and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
As a true tastemaker, Drake has been recognized with many of the industry’s highest honors, including induction into the ASID College of Fellows, Interior Design Magazine’s Interior Design Hall of Fame, the IFDA New York Circle of Excellence for Interior Design, and the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year.

An eclectic juxtaposition of materials are featured, including rich mahogany, leather, hammered brass, mother of pearl, stone, and cerused finishes, providing a fresh and alluring take on contemporary style. Signature pieces include an upholstered headboard banded in mother of pearl and sleek, fully upholstered chairs and sofas.
“Jamie Drake for Theodore Alexander” will debut with a 2,000 square-foot showroom presentation designed exclusively by Drake. The collection will be available worldwide through Theodore Alexander’s finest retailers, designers, and trade showrooms.
