Jeremy Musson will talk on the history of design, decoration and use of the English country house drawing room; his talk will be illustrated with pictures from his new book The Drawing Room: English Country House Decoration, in which Althorp’s captivating South Drawing Room features.

Jeremy Musson is a historian who specialises in the history of the English Country House, Architectural Editor of Country Life, 1998-2007 and presenter of BBC2’s The Curious House Guest in 2006-2007, he is also author of Up and Down Stairs, English Ruins, and English Country House Interiors.
