Theodore Alexander announces the appointment of Dr Doris Phua as C.E.O. Dr Phua brings to T.A. thirty years of luxury furniture industry experience, most recently as C.E.O. of the Da Vinci Group. There she specialized in the retail of high end furniture in Asia alongside the co-founder of Da Vinci Holdings, her husband Tony Phua.
Eighteen years of experience distributing Theodore Alexander in key markets as C.E.O of the Da Vinci Group mean that Dr Phua is uniquely positioned to advocate for T.A. and our diverse collections. Doris Phua’s expertise and drive has led to success in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Italy. It is this retail insight and enthusiasm that she will bring to Theodore Alexander’s global operations. Doris Phua was named the 2001 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by the Singapore Small and Medium Enterprise 50 Awards as well as the Montblanc Businesswoman of the Year 2002. She was honored with a doctorate title from Honolulu University.
